The case adds to a string of recent reports in which Portland police say men broke into homes to attack women and girls. In a separate incident in Southeast Portland, officers responded to the area of Southeast 67th Avenue and Brooklyn Street around 11:30 a.m. after receiving several reports within a short period, according to KOIN. That suspect, identified by KOIN as 43-year-old Judson C. Defir, was found near Southeast 68th Avenue and Clinton Street, arrested and lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center. He faces charges of attempted rape and kidnapping, along with outstanding warrants, and is accused of inappropriately touching and assaulting multiple women in the area.
