Resorts World Las Vegas is opening a new nightlife venue named after a fictional jackalope on November 15, pairing line dancing and house music with deviled eggs topped in Kaluga caviar. Miss Loretta's joins a crowded Strip arms race of country-themed bars, but its creators are betting that caviar and choreography will set it apart from the honky-tonk pack.
According to Las Vegas Review-Journal nightlife reporter Christopher Lawrence, Miss Loretta's is named for a character described as cheeky and prone to making trouble, with a taste for fabulous nights — a nod to the jackalope, the mythical jackrabbit with antelope horns that has long haunted Western folklore. The venue was created in partnership with Bishop Design, according to Resident Magazine.
Resorts World's own announcement, as cited by the Review-Journal, describes the venue's setting as one where glittering disco cowboy hats, boots and western iconography set the scene for dressing up and dancing, with ruby-lipstick red and dusty pink mixing with russet copper, ultramarine, turquoise and metallic gold accents throughout the decor. The resort already houses the country-themed Dawghouse Saloon, giving Miss Loretta's a built-in sibling concept under the same roof.
Caviar, Cocktails and Choreographed Dance Breaks
The menu leans upscale for a country bar: charcuterie and cheese boards, sweet and savory popcorn mixes, and those caviar-topped deviled eggs, per the Review-Journal's reporting. Eleven signature cocktails round out the drink list, including ones named Emotional Support Cowboy, Pretty When I Cry, and High Noon, Low Expectations.
The entertainment model is just as hands-on. Resident dancers will guide guests through line dances and perform their own choreographed numbers on top of the house-and-country music mix, the station's report notes. Job listings posted by Resorts World Las Vegas and reviewed on Indeed show the resort is hiring Model Lounge Servers tasked with a dual role: pouring drinks while also executing choreographed and freestyle line dance routines during their shifts, combining frontline hospitality with performance duties.
Resorts World has staged a digital fireworks display on its 100,000-square-foot West Tower screen, per the resort's own announcement.
Timed to Rodeo Week and a Stacked Competitive Field
The November 15 opening sets Miss Loretta's up to ride the wave of Rodeo World 2026, Resorts World's 10-day, property-wide celebration running December 3 through December 12 alongside Wrangler National Finals Rodeo week, according to the resort. That stretch brings headline performances from Riley Green, Sheryl Crow and Dwight Yoakam to the property, lining up the new venue's debut with some of the heaviest foot traffic the Strip sees all year.
Miss Loretta's steps into a Las Vegas country-nightlife scene that has grown considerably crowded. Luke Combs' Category 10, a 34,000-square-foot, three-story venue built with Opry Entertainment Group, is set to open inside the Flamingo on Thursday, Oct. 15, with seven bars, two stages, free line dancing and a 3,000-square-foot rooftop, per Country 103.7. Blake Shelton's Ole Red Las Vegas, a four-story, 27,000-square-foot venue at Horseshoe's Grand Bazaar Shops, has been open since January 2024, and Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Bar debuted at 63 CityCenter that December.
Station Casinos is also planning to bring San Diego's Moonshine Flats to Durango Casino & Resort's north expansion as a 29,000-square-foot, two-story venue, with completion slated for 2027. That build-out, along with the Strip's existing honky-tonks, reflects a regional appetite for Western-themed nightlife that extends beyond the Strip itself — Hoodline has reported on sellout crowds at the long-running Helldorado Days Rodeo downtown, which is expanding seating and adding a new VIP+ tier ahead of its November 13-14 run at CORE Arena.
Resorts World itself remains one of the largest bets on the Strip, developed by Malaysia-based Genting Berhad for $4.3 billion and opened in June 2021 with 3,500 hotel rooms across three Hilton brands. Whether Miss Loretta's caviar-and-choreography formula can carve out its own niche against Category 10 and Ole Red may become clearer once the jackalope-themed bar opens its doors next month.
