Fans who flew into Miami for Tini's only scheduled U.S. concert were sent home Sunday night after the show at Kaseya Center was canceled just before the 8 p.m. start time. Police used a loudspeaker outside the downtown arena to tell the gathered crowd to return to their vehicles or pick a different destination, since the performance would not be happening.

Only U.S. Stop on the Tour Abruptly Scrapped

The Argentinian singer, born Martina Stoessel and known to fans simply as Tini, was in Miami as part of her FUTTTURA World Tour, and the Kaseya Center date had been billed as her sole U.S. appearance on the run, according to Consequence. Because it was the only chance for American fans to catch the tour, many had traveled specifically for the show, which made the last-minute cancellation sting even harder, per the same outlet.

As first reported by NBC 6 South Florida, Kaseya Center said in a statement that the cancellation was due to circumstances unrelated to Tini or the venue itself, and that ticket holders would be refunded through their original point of purchase. In a separate Instagram story, the venue said the performance was called off due to unforeseen circumstances and that refunds would be made available.

Tini and Promoter Point to Production Failures

AKE Music Productions, the Argentina-based promoter, said in an Instagram statement that the show was canceled because essential technical and production requirements previously requested for the performance were not met.

Tini herself addressed fans directly through an Instagram story, apologizing that the show would not go on and saying her team had done everything possible to adapt the FUTTTURA production and carry out the performance anyway, per the NBC 6 report. She said serious technical and safety conditions that had been guaranteed for the show were not met, that the venue was handed over several hours late, and that the concert setup was left incomplete. According to her account, key systems including sound, lighting, video, and communication were not operational, and essential safety tests, including those required for aerial acts, could not be carried out. Tini said she was prepared to take the stage and plans to release an official statement later detailing the specific failures.

Back-to-Back Bookings Raise Questions About Turnaround

The cancellation came one night after Kaseya Center hosted the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina on the arena's stage, according to the venue's own events calendar. That back-to-back scheduling provides context for the delayed handoff Tini's team described. The arena's general capacity is 19,500, while center-stage concert configurations can accommodate up to 19,146, per Wikipedia.

The venue briefly operated as Miami-Dade Arena after its naming-rights agreement with FTX was terminated effective January 2023, following FTX's bankruptcy, before software firm Kaseya signed a 17-year, $117.4 million naming rights agreement in April 2023.

Refunds After the Cancellation

Ticket holders were told refunds would be issued automatically to their original payment method. Buyers who purchased through secondary resale platforms are also entitled to clear refund guarantees under Florida ticket resale law when an event is canceled, according to LakelandLaw.com.

For now, Tini has not announced a rescheduled date for her only planned U.S. stop on the FUTTTURA World Tour.
