Deer Park is about to get its first taste of avocado toast done gourmet-style. Toastique, an all-day café known for its toast, smoothie bowls and espresso drinks, will open its doors on Saturday, Nov. 7 — marking the brand's first location in Illinois and the Chicagoland area.

The new café, set to open inside Deer Park Town Center at 20530 N Rand Road, Suite 444, according to EIN Presswire, will be owned and operated by local franchisees Sunny Puri, Romi Puri and Angad Johar. It's worth noting that an earlier tenant listing from Patch had pegged the Deer Park Toastique for a winter 2025 debut, placing the 1,400-square-foot restaurant in Suite 444 next to Fidelity Investments — a timeline that has since shifted to the confirmed November 2026 date.

What's on the Menu

What's on the Menu Once open, Toastique–Deer Park will offer toast and smoothie bowls.

Beyond toast, the café rounds out its menu with smoothies, cold-pressed juices, wellness shots and espresso drinks, plus a grab-and-go section for those in a hurry. The brand states that its ingredients are locally sourced when possible, with recipes built without artificial additives or added sugars.

Opening-Day Rewards and the Puri Pitch

Toastique is sweetening the debut for early risers: the first 100 customers in line on opening day will score $50 in Toastique reward dollars with any toast purchase. Everyone else who shows up and spends at least $10 will walk away with a free drip coffee or a 12-ounce small juice.

Franchisee Sunny Puri said the Chicago entry fills a local need for high-quality all-day food that blends bold flavor with nutrition, and described Toastique as a welcoming place for lunch or brunch with a memorable meal, according to the announcement. A grand opening event is expected to be announced at a later date, though specifics have not yet been released.

A Growing Brand Finds Its Chicago Footing

Toastique was conceptualized in Washington, D.C., and now counts more than 60 locations nationwide, per the EIN Presswire release — though the brand's own website states it has 65-plus locations open. Either way, Deer Park represents new ground for the chain.

The Deer Park café isn't arriving in a vacuum. According to the Daily Herald, Toastique is one of four new tenants joining Deer Park Town Center, alongside LaserAway, which opened in a 1,819-square-foot space next to Sleep Number, and Warby Parker and American Eagle, both of which were under construction and targeting November openings at the time of that report. The shopping center itself features more than 60 retail, restaurant and service brands, according to Patch.
