A commercial tire distributor wants to park a big new regional hub on Broadway in Cheektowaga, and it is asking for some tax help to get the wheels turning. Valley Tire would pull its scattered Buffalo and Cheektowaga operations under one roof in a building of more than 50,000 square feet. The company's parent is eyeing an investment north of $8.85 million.

According to WBEN, Valley Tire's parent, Stankiewicz Enterprises Ltd. L.P., wants to invest slightly more than $8.85 million to build a 53,250-square-foot regional distribution and sales hub. Valley Tire is an industrial and commercial tire dealer.

The Buffalo News describes the proposed facility as a roughly 50,000- to 53,000-square-foot tire storage and service building.

Two Old Locations, One New Roof

The new building would consolidate Valley Tire's existing Buffalo and Cheektowaga operations into one Cheektowaga hub, per the Buffalo News.

The proposed building is a commercial truck service facility with interior tire storage.

The project involves parcels at 3419, 3425 and 3443 Broadway.

Tax Breaks at the Center of the Pitch

The proposal has been considered for sales-tax and property-tax abatements through the Erie County Industrial Development Agency, according to a NewsBreak daily brief that flagged a Sept. 29 public hearing.

Months of Town Review Behind It

The road to this point had a few bumps. The Cheektowaga Principal Advisory Committee tabled the parcel merger and site plan on Feb. 25, 2026, over outstanding environmental items. The Environmental Advisory Committee then reviewed the proposal on April 29, 2026, as reported by Citizen Portal, with the plan calling for merging three parcels into a single lot.

The Planning Board recommended approval on October 9, 2025, after discussion of parking, lighting and fire suppression. That account describes a roughly 50,000 to 53,000-square-foot commercial truck service building with interior tire storage and scheduled truck servicing.
