A mini-golf course shaped like a love letter to Buffalo has landed on Seneca Street, complete with a giant beef on weck sculpture standing guard over one hole. Birdies Bank Shot opened at 5700 Seneca St. in West Seneca, bringing a nine-hole outdoor course, three golf simulators and a full sports bar under one roof.

The venue marks the second location from the team behind Step Out Buffalo's reported Bank Shot concept, which first launched in East Aurora. While that original spot leans into premier simulators, league play and what Bank Shot Golf describes as vintage varsity energy, the West Seneca expansion was built as a bigger, family-oriented destination with more room for mini golf, food and sports-bar fun.

Inside, the seasonal nine-hole outdoor course leans hard into regional pride, with Buffalo-themed sculptures that include beef on weck, a chicken wing, a loganberry, a kazoo and a butter lamb scattered across the greens, according to Step Out Buffalo. The beef on weck sandwich gets its own dedicated hole, a detail that sets the tone for just how local the design choices get.

Simulators, Sports Bar and a Covered Patio

Beyond the mini-golf course, Birdies Bank Shot houses three Full Swing golf simulators that do double duty, offering football, hockey and carnival games in addition to golf. The venue also includes a full restaurant and sports bar, a covered patio, pool tables and darts, per Step Out Buffalo's reporting.

Guests can book simulator time online in advance or walk in, and the kitchen and bar open at noon every day. The mini-golf course itself only runs seasonally, so its outdoor hours will shift with the weather.

The West Seneca Chamber of Commerce describes the location as a spot that pairs food, drinks and golf simulators with a Buffalo-themed nine-hole miniature golf course, a combination the West Seneca Chamber of Commerce frames as part of ongoing development in the area. The building previously housed Ryan's Greyside Grille and Flappy's Pub, according to the West Seneca Bee, before being converted for its current use.

Hours and What Else Is Planned for the Site

Birdies Bank Shot is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday hours run from noon to 7 p.m., according to Step Out Buffalo's reporting on the new venue.

Earlier project materials from Bank Shot Golf described the Seneca Street site as under construction with a target opening in Fall 2026 and noted that second-floor residential apartments were also moving forward as part of the project. A separate opening-day announcement on Instagram said the venue was officially opening on Friday, September 18, with a celebration planned from noon to 10 p.m.

Bank Shot's expansion into West Seneca follows coverage from Buffalo Business First describing the move as a larger second location built with more space for events and families than the original East Aurora spot. The West Seneca Bee reported the goal behind the build-out was to create a year-round destination for families, golfers and social groups alike, pointing to features like indoor billiards and darts that were added in response to strong community request.

Photos of the course and its sculptures, credited to Bank Shot Golf, show just how far the Buffalo theming goes, from the loganberry to the butter lamb standing watch over the greens.
