Yoder Family Kitchen is a family-run doughnut business operating from a food truck across Box Elder, Weber and Cache counties. Cache Valley Daily reported that the Yoders make about 1,200 doughnuts even on a slow day, with the business beginning in 2022.
A route-based business, not a fixed market schedule
The truck’s stops matter to customers because the business is mobile. In its profile, Cache Valley Daily reported that the family generally makes doughnuts on Thursdays and Saturdays and travels to locations and events around the region. That account does not provide a current stop-by-stop schedule, so customers should not assume a particular market listing confirms where the truck will be.
The Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market provides one useful point of comparison for the region’s market calendar: its 2026 listing says the Logan market runs Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Historic Courthouse, from Mother’s Day weekend through mid-October. That is the gardeners’ market’s schedule—not a listing of Yoder Family Kitchen’s appearances.
Handmade doughnuts and a family operation
Cache Valley Daily reported that the family developed its own version of a recipe passed down from relatives. The dough is mixed from scratch, allowed to rise, shaped by hand, fried and glazed. The same report describes the business as a family operation led by Henry and Mary Beth Yoder with relatives and their children.
The family’s Mennonite background is part of the profile, but it does not establish what customers will find at any given stop. Cache Valley Daily reported that the Yoders have lived near Tremonton for about 15 years and that Henry Yoder said he did not want the family’s way of life to make customers feel unwelcome. The report’s broader description of Mennonite practices should not be taken to represent every Mennonite community.
