Daly City pizza fans now have a second Mountain Mike's to choose from. The chain has opened a new restaurant at 5999 Mission St., a 2,000-square-foot spot with a weekday lunch buffet, five big-screen TVs and hours that stretch past midnight on weekends.

The opening marks the brand's second location in the city, according to RestaurantNews.com, which covered the announcement. The new restaurant is owned and operated by franchisees Jagjit Sethi, Charanpreet Singh and Gurpreet Sandhu, the outlet reports. Mountain Mike's own location page for the Mission Street address confirms the restaurant and labels it “Now Open!”

What's Inside the New Mission Street Restaurant

The Daly City restaurant features a weekday all-you-can-eat pizza and salad lunch buffet along with a fresh salad bar, beer on tap, wine selection, kids' arcade games and complimentary Wi-Fi, per the same report. Five big-screen televisions round out the dine-in experience, the outlet notes. It's set up as a spot where families, sports fans and lunch crowds alike can post up for a while.

Hours at the new location run Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., the announcement states. Customers can reach the restaurant at (650) 752-4700. Sethi said the new location continues the chain's Bay Area legacy, adding, “we're excited to broaden that experience for Daly City residents.”

A Second Mountain Mike's Already Served the City

This isn't Daly City's first taste of Mountain Mike's. A separate restaurant has operated at 35 Skyline Plaza since it opened in 2022, when RestaurantNews.com described that location as roughly 1,700 square feet. According to QSR Magazine, that earlier restaurant was owned and operated by local franchisees Gagan Singh and Raja Sethi, who at the time owned two other Mountain Mike's locations in the Bay Area with plans to develop more.

QSR Magazine also reported the Skyline Plaza restaurant's hours as 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday — shorter than the new Mission Street location's late-night schedule. A Yelp listing for the Skyline Plaza address separately notes that restaurant offers its weekday buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A Growing Bay Area Footprint

Mountain Mike's has served customers since 1978, according to the RestaurantNews.com announcement, and now counts more than 200 locations across the greater San Francisco Bay Area and nearly 350 overall. The chain offers dine-in, carryout and in-house delivery, with orders accepted online, through the Mountain Rewards app and via third-party delivery partners.

With two restaurants now operating within city limits, Daly City residents have more options than ever for a late-night slice or a sit-down lunch buffet on a weekday afternoon.
