Salt Lake City is about to get a whole lot more magical, as Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero rolls into the Delta Center this weekend for six performances spanning three days. The touring ice show brings together heroes from Frozen, Moana, Encanto, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid for a weekend of jumps, spins and sing-along moments aimed squarely at families looking for something fun to do before the holidays set in.
According to the Delta Center, Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero is coming to the arena November 6 through 8. The show has drawn local television attention this week, too — KUTV's Fresh Living segment, which airs weekdays at 1 p.m. MST on CBS Channel 2, had Charlese Malaret and Roxanne Collins join the show to share details about the event ahead of opening night.
Six Chances to Catch the Show
Families have plenty of options for when to show up. ABC4 reports six scheduled performances: Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. The station also spoke with Disney On Ice performer Aurora Busiello, who shared what audiences can expect from the Salt Lake City run.
KUTV describes the production as featuring world-class figure skating, dazzling costumes and spectacular special effects to bring the stories to life on ice.
Which Characters Are Skating In
The official Disney On Ice show page lays out several of the storylines fans will see unfold. Anna and Elsa headline a dazzling adventure in Arendelle, while Moana and Maui journey to return the heart of Te Fiti. Mirabel sings and dances alongside her sisters Isabela and Luisa, Belle celebrates courage and adventure with her enchanted friends, and Ariel follows her heart to the surface in her own segment.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are also part of the lineup, rounding out a roster built to appeal to fans of nearly every era of Disney animation. It's a broad mix meant to give kids of different ages and favorite franchises a reason to cheer.
What to Know Before You Go
Anyone heading to the Delta Center this weekend should plan accordingly on the bag front. Venue policy states that bags are not allowed inside, with exceptions for diaper and medical bags no larger than 14 by 14 by 6 inches and clutches no bigger than 4 by 6 by 2 inches.
The venue also wants fans to be careful about where they buy tickets. The Delta Center says the only authorized ticketing outlets for its events are DeltaCenter.com, UtahJazz.com, UtahMammoth.com and SeatGeek.com — a reminder worth heeding before the final performances sell through this weekend.
