St. Louis is waking up Saturday to fog, temperatures near 32 degrees and one last cold-weather warning before a remarkably mild stretch takes over. The Freeze Warning remains in effect through 8 a.m., and Saturday is forecast to be sunny with a high near 56.
Saturday Turns Sunny After Freeze Warning
The National Weather Service says some areas could dip as low as 28 degrees, with the greatest risk in outlying locations. Sensitive plants and exposed outdoor pipes remain vulnerable, while river steam fog may create sudden visibility drops near bridges and river valleys during the morning commute.
Saturday should be sunny with light northwest winds and a high near 56, followed by a partly cloudy Saturday night and a low near 37.
Sunday Starts A Stretch Of Mild Weather
Sunday brings the weekend rebound, with sunshine and a high near 63 degrees. That is a small but welcome jump from Saturday, and it continues the pattern outlined in Hoodline's earlier forecast.
The warmest days arrive Monday and Tuesday, when highs should reach about 66 and 69 degrees, respectively. Both days look sunny or mostly sunny, with light winds and no meaningful rain threat.
Veterans Day Stays Mostly Sunny
Veterans Day on Wednesday should remain mostly sunny with a high near 66. A slight chance of light rain arrives Wednesday night and could linger into Thursday, but the chance of precipitation remains around 20%.
Thursday turns cooler, with a high near 61 and light rain. Friday looks partly cloudy and noticeably chillier, topping out near 49 as the week ends.
