The festival begins Friday, March 12, with a benefit for the GroundUP Music Foundation, separate from the public performances scheduled for March 13 and 14. Attendance is capped at 150, and the event is set to include rehearsals, cocktails, dinner with artists and private performances, including a Snarky Puppy set, according to Relix. Miami New Times reports that benefit tickets cost $494 plus fees and are tax-deductible.
On Saturday and Sunday, Snarky Puppy is scheduled to play full sets featuring music from its album Somni. The band will also perform Family Dinner sessions with guest artists, according to JamBase. The festival’s lineup page lists both a full set and a Family Dinner performance for the band each night.
The announced guests are Gretchen Parlato, Lionel Loueke, DOMi & JD Beck, Charlie Hunter, Ella Feingold, Victoria Canal, Lau Noah and The Rumble. DOMi & JD Beck perform as a keyboard-and-drums duo, while The Rumble is a New Orleans funk group. The festival website says additional artists will be announced.
GroundUP is scheduled for March 12–14, 2027, at the Miami Beach Bandshell, where the festival has been held annually since 2017, Miami New Times reports. The outlet says Friday’s program starts at 1 p.m.; late-night jams are planned at a venue still to be announced. North Beach has an 11 p.m. curfew, according to the same report.
