Costumed crowds are expected to pack Midtown bars Saturday for the Nashville Official Halloween Bar Crawl, a wristband-based pub crawl kicking off at Tin Roof on Demonbreun Street with tickets starting at $20 for guests 21 and older. The event promises bar hopping, DJs, music, costumes, themed cocktails and drink specials across a lineup of participating venues, according to the seed listing from Nashville Lifestyles.
Per Nashville Lifestyles, the crawl takes place in Midtown Nashville and starts at 3 p.m. Saturday, with Saturday hours running from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. A do615.com listing also features the event. A separate listing from pubcrawls.com, however, schedules Saturday's crawl from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., so attendees may want to confirm the closing time before planning their night.
Check-In, Wristbands, and the Digital Bar List
Check-in happens at Tin Roof, located at 1516 Demonbreun Street, according to both Nashville Lifestyles and do615.com. Attendees are urged to arrive on time, since organizers warn that latecomers risk missing out — as Bar Crawl Live! puts it, “If you're late, you'll miss out – no wristband, no entry!”
Ticket holders are set to receive the official Digital Bar List by email about a week before the crawl, per Nashville Lifestyles, which also notes the list includes check-in details, the wristband pickup location, participating bar hours, and general event information. The same event listing specifies that the bars named in promotional materials are not themselves the official bar list. Bar Crawl Live! echoes that the list covers everything from registration spots and wristband pickup times to bar hours and specials, and it advises checking the list again the morning of the event for any last-minute changes.
Perks, Specials, and the Midtown Lineup
Wristband holders get waived door covers plus drink and food deals, according to Nashville Lifestyles, which separately lists ticket perks including free access to top bars, drink deals up to 50% off, and select food items discounted as much as 20%. Pubcrawls.com adds that October 31 ticket purchases include two to three complimentary drinks or shots, and that the wristband lets crawlers into participating venues without paying separate covers while a digital map guides them between stops.
Nashville Lifestyles names Tin Roof, Live Oak, Five Iron Golf Bar, and Green Light as partnering bars, while noting organizers plan to announce additional bars and nightclubs. Pubcrawls.com lists a different trio — Live Oak, Broadway Brewhouse, and The Asbury — as part of the Nashville route. Both sources caution that participating bars and drink specials can change at the venues' discretion, so the final lineup may shift right up to crawl time.
Costumes, Contests, and Entertainment
Beyond the bar hopping, the event includes Halloween-themed drinks, pre-game, halftime and after parties, photographers and videographers, a costume contest, and DJs at select venues, according to Nashville Lifestyles. Visitmusiccity.com describes the atmosphere as featuring creepy cocktails, outrageous costumes, and an electrifying vibe spread across the participating stops.
Nashville Lifestyles also notes the crawl also runs the night before, on October 30, with Friday hours listed from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. September and October birthday celebrants can reportedly redeem a free ticket by messaging the event on Instagram while supplies last, per the same listing. General admission tickets run $20 and are sold through barcrawllive.com, and the event is expected to draw hundreds of crawlers into Midtown's bar scene for the holiday.
