Cleveland starts Sunday, November 1, under a blanket of clouds, but the day will be mild rather than miserable: around 54 degrees early, climbing to 69 by afternoon. Southeast winds may make the morning feel breezier than the temperature suggests, while rain chances stay near zero for most of the day.
The latest outlook from the National Weather Service keeps Sunday mostly cloudy, with winds starting east to southeast and dry conditions expected. No watches, warnings or advisories are posted for the Cleveland area.
Warmth Builds Through Tuesday
Monday brings partly sunny skies and a high near 68, although a few light showers could develop, especially toward western counties. South winds will run 6 to 9 mph, and Monday night stays mostly cloudy with a low around 56.
Tuesday is the warmest day of the stretch, reaching about 76 degrees under partly sunny skies with south winds near 12 mph. That late-season warm spell will feel more like a bonus October cameo than the opening week of November.
Rain Finally Gets A Turn
Rain chances rise Wednesday, with showers possible after 7 a.m. and a 40% chance of precipitation as temperatures reach the mid-70s. Thursday looks wetter, with rain likely, a high near 68 and a 60% chance of precipitation.
The shift is more pronounced than in Saturday’s Cleveland outlook, which had a cooler Tuesday and less firmly established midweek rain. The weather service says showers could linger beyond Thursday if the incoming system slows over the Great Lakes.
Clouds And Showers May Linger
Friday brings a 50% chance of rain and a high near 64. Saturday looks cooler at around 59 degrees, with mostly cloudy skies.
For outdoor plans, Sunday through Tuesday offer the best window, with mild temperatures and little chance of rain. Wednesday and Thursday are the days to keep an umbrella nearby, especially for morning travel and outdoor events.
