Vinny's All Day Café, the Boca Raton restaurant famous for its oversized wraps and supersized salads, soft-opened its second location in Jupiter on October 26, and it didn't take long for word to spread. By October 28, crowds had formed and lines stretched out the door at the new spot in Abacoa Plaza.
Owner Richard Bartlett had confirmed months earlier that the new location was planned for 5440 Military Trail in Abacoa Plaza, with an opening targeted for late summer or early fall 2026, according to Jupiter Brief. Vinny's own website now lists the Jupiter address as 5440 Military Trail #17, matching that reporting. The soft opening and the crowds that followed were first reported by The Palm Beach Post.
A Wrap That Found Fame on TikTok
The draw for many diners is the Chicken Caesar Wrap, which Bartlett has called the brand's most popular item, per the same report from Business Debut's coverage of the Jupiter expansion. The wrap went viral on TikTok under the Bartletts' ownership, Jupiter Brief notes, turning a longtime Boca Raton lunch spot into something of a cult favorite well beyond its original neighborhood.
Richard and Kristena Bartlett purchased the Vinny's restaurant and concept in September 2021, according to Business Debut's report on the Jupiter expansion. The original Boca Raton location, at 3013 West Yamato Road, has been serving customers since 2001 — a two-decade run that predates the Bartletts' ownership and the wrap's recent viral moment.
Expected Setup at the New Spot
Jupiter Brief reported that the new location was expected to mirror the original Boca menu and offer around 54 seats across indoor and outdoor dining, with plans to operate seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Those details were described as expectations ahead of the opening rather than confirmed specifics once doors opened.
A Separate Spot Tied to the Wrap's Creator
The Chicken Caesar Wrap's connection to Boca Raton runs deeper than the Bartletts' ownership. Chef Vinny Carbone, the wrap's original creator, has opened his own restaurant, VC's Kitchen, in the Shoppes of Blue Lake at 1200 W. Yamato Road, according to the Miami New Times. That spot opened roughly two months before the outlet's report and is a distinct concept from Vinny's Café, which the Miami New Times notes is still owned by Kristena and Richard Bartlett and continues to operate in Boca Raton.
Unlike Vinny's Café, which focuses on lunch, Carbone's VC's Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the Miami New Times reports. The two restaurants share a signature dish and a shared history, but they now operate under entirely different ownership and hours, giving Palm Beach County wrap fans two distinct places to chase the same viral flavor.
