According to WKRN News 2, emergency crews responded to the 300 block of Dellway Villa Road after reports of gunfire. A Metro Nashville Police Department officer told the station that detectives are following strong leads, adding that the investigation remains ongoing.
A post from the Nashville 311 account on X, timestamped 4:06 a.m. on Oct. 14, 2025, flagged a shooting at 231 Dellway Villa Rd in East Nashville that was reported at 10:53 p.m. on Oct. 13; it predates Friday's fatal shooting.
Investigation Remains Active

Dellway Villa Road has seen gun violence before. A suspect was arrested last year after a shooting injured a 23-year-old man at a Dellway Villa Road apartment complex on Aug. 10, 2025, according to a statement from the Metro Nashville Police Department. In 2022, detectives also charged Tommie Lee Brown II in the murder of Arthur Henderson in the parking lot of the Fallbrook Apartments on the same street, per a separate Metro Nashville Police Department release.
What Comes Next
For now, the central facts remain what they were in the hours after the shooting: a woman is dead, detectives say they have strong leads, and no one has been arrested or charged. Anyone following the case will need to watch for updates as investigators continue their work.
