Just weeks after enduring controversy for its rainbow-painted Zen garden rock, the restaurant has closed its doors.

The popular arcade bar is changing its name and focus.

Decked out with two 14-foot live redwood trees, this "garden" specializes in beer and sausages.

The expanded bar will also be changing its name.

New owner Mark White said that Cook Shoppe will continue in Chow's footsteps as "an honest, affordable and local" restaurant.

The milestone is an unexpected one for the neighborhood dive, which has been set to be demolished for housing for several years.
