Lower Haters Gallery hosts a dual art show opening tonight called "Creature Comforts," featuring the works of artists Grant Gilliland and Martin Hsu.
Gilliland is an SF-based artist whose love of animation comes through in his playful illustrations and drawings. Hsu's work, meanwhile, also involves a world of colorful characters and cartoonish creatures, but often takes a bit of a darker tone (as with "Crabby Bear" pictured above). With their similar styles and subject matter, these two should combine for a strong show. Tonight's reception goes from 7pm to 10pm, and the show runs through December 8th. So get yourself on over to Haight and Steiner, and check it out!
