Ah, 1996.
While you were sulking around in your flannel shirt quoting lines from Jerry Maguire, Adam Firestone and David Walker were busy starting the Firestone Walker Brewing Company.
14 years later, you might not have much to celebrate, but Firestone Walker sure does. Tonight, at Toronado, they'll be on hand to dole out samples of their 14th Anniversary beer, a special brew they've concocted by combining no fewer than six of their tastiest ales.
As 7x7 reports, "the resulting beer is heady, aromatic, and high in alcohol-- a perfect candidate for a year or two of aging in a home cellar." Or for us, drinking immediately. For tonight only, Toronado will have the 14th Anniversary beer both on tap and in take-homeable bottle form. Reps from Firestone are scheduled to be present from 6-8pm, but who knows how long the beer will last. So, plan accordingly.
