Yo gobble gobble -- it's turkey day!
If you're like us, your day will involve some combination of nephews, tv, gravy, over-eating, over-drinking, awkward family revelations, sweatpants, indigestion, and pie-induced night terrors.
But if you're not like us, maybe you just want to find somewhere local to have a drink and watch a little football.
If so, here are some options for spending the holiday in the neighborhood with your extended Lower Haight family.
As far as bars go... Toronado opens at 9:30am today. Nickies opens at 11am. Danny Coyle's opens at 4pm. The Page opens for the after-dinner crowd at 8pm. Molotov's, Noc Noc, and Mad Dog might also be open -- we'll be confirming later today. Food will be harder to come by -- we did a quick survey of Memphis Minnie's, Ragazza, Two Jacks, and Three Twins, and they're all closed -- but let us know if you find anything open and we'll update. And finally, Muni will be running on a Sunday schedule. No matter how you spend the day, be safe, have fun, and stay warm. Happy Thanksgiving folks!
