Victim in Shovel Attack/Stabbing Identified

The shovel-wielding man who was fatally stabbed Friday morning on Page Street has now been identified by the medical examiner's office.

According to the Chronicle, the man has been identified as 53-year-old Anthony Jones, a San Francisco resident.

Jones was pronounced dead at San Francisco General Hospital. The other man was also hospitalized and has not been arrested pending an investigation, police said. His name has not been released.
