Noise Pop-Up Shop Launching on Fillmore Tomorrow
It's finally February, folks, and that means the annual Noise Pop music and arts festival will soon be coming to San Francisco. This year, the organizers have concocted something truly special: a month-long, ever-changing pop-up shop that'll be located right here in the Lower Haight.

Full disclosure: Noise Pop is currently a Haighteration sponsor -- but we'd definitely be posting about this one anyway. Beginning tomorrow night, and running through the 26th, 248 Fillmore Street (the Fifty24SF gallery space) will be home to parties, film screenings, live performances, dinners, craft-making, and something billed as a... wait for it.... "pop-up dildo shop and ice cream social." Yeah. It all kicks off tomorrow night with the opening night party curated by Noise Pop and Upper Playground, from 6pm - 10pm. Then, the rest of the month's schedule includes nights curated by SFWeekly, The Owl Mag, WorkshopSF, Johnny Funcheap, Good Vibrations, Turntable Kitchen, Amoeba Music, and more. (Can you guess which one is curating the dildo shop?) Plus -- and here's one you really need to mark on your calendars -- on Wednesday, February 16th, Haighteration will have the honor of curating the shop, presenting a Lower Haightastical evening we're calling Haighteration in 3D. More details on that soon. For more on the pop-up shop, check out the full calendar of events, and prepare for an amazing month!
