An exhibit featuring set pieces and props from a new Francis Ford Coppola film will be opening tomorrow night at Fifty24SF gallery (218 Fillmore).
The show, called TWIXT sc. 83 is based on Francis Ford Coppola's most recent film, "Twixt." The film stars Val Kilmer as a writer who "arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl." Coppola's American Zoetrope Productions collaborated with Upper Playground and Fifty24SF to curate the show. As such, the film's art department has rebuilt the set from the film's climax (scene 83) inside the gallery. There will be other props and photographs from the film's locations throughout the space. TWIXT sc. 83 opens tomorrow night (Friday the 13th, appropriately) at 7pm.
