We've gone several months with very little to report on the topic of mural tagging. Sadly, that streak ends today.
The leafy mural at the corner of Haight and Pierce, which was painted in May of 2011 by artist Megan Stevens, has been defaced. The mural was tagged recently, and then painted over completely. It has since been tagged again. Sigh. Here's a photo of the half-finished mural in happier times.
