Lower Haight Leftovers: 2/10 Edition
It's Friday, and you know what that means: time for our weekly roundup of news stories that almost slipped through the cracks. Let's do it.

Tonight, from 9pm to 2am, Underground SF hosts Deep Crates, "a showcase of DJs that connect the dots of dance music's history with the latest jams and cuts." Then tomorrow (Saturday) at 10pm, it's Pop Brownie night, featuring "your monthly dose of 90s Hip Hop, RnB and Dance!" Never a dull moment at Underground SF.
In case you missed it, the guy who drove into the Duboce Muni tunnel last month? Turns out his blood alcohol content was .20 -- 2.5 times the legal limit. He was also driving 40mph.
Good news: live music is finally coming to Cafe du Soleil! This Sunday, check out the gypsy jazz stylings of guitarist Doug Martin and guests, who will be performing at the cafe from 6:30pm on.
Hey Upper Haighters -- next week, Ben & Jerry's will be giving away free samples of Stephen Colbert's Americone Dream ice cream to celebrate the flavor's five year anniversary. Swing by on Monday from 5-7pm for a slice of ice cream cake, or Tuesday from 5-8pm for a free cone when you mention the flavor. ••••••••••••• Uh oh... looks like the N Judah is going to be out of service for 6 weekends in a row, beginning February 24th. Shuttle buses and extra trains on other lines will be used to offset the shutdown.
Need a costume? Check out today's Google Offer: $20 for $40 at Costumes on Haight.
Finally, someone in the neighborhood has lost a flying remote control clown fish. At first we thought this was a weird joke, but after watching the video, we're inclined to believe it.
