What Lower Haight shop got featured in Vogue? When will ramen noodles return to the neighborhood? Who pleaded not guilty to what this week? We've got the answers to those burning questions and more, all in today's leftovers.
Tonight, Berlin-Style Ping Pong returns to the Lower Haight! Promising a full bar, wristbands, and DJ PJ on the wheels of steel, this one's not to be missed. That's tonight from 8:30pm to 12:30am at D-Structure, 520 Haight.
Wallace Richardson, the driver of that UCSF shuttle van that allegedly ran a red light at Oak and Octavia in July and collided with a tractor-trailer, fatally ejecting passenger Kevin Mack, pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge this week. Richardson will next appear in court March 7th for a pretrial conference.
It's not often that a Lower Haight business gets featured in Vogue, but that's exactly what happened to Revolver this week. The shop at 136 Fillmore Street gets an extensive profile on Vogue.it, where it's named "one of the most interesting stores in San Francisco." Indeed!
Did you miss the Hapa Ramen pop-up at Wing Wings last week? Well, you're in luck. The first event was so successful -- we hear they sold out in a couple of hours -- the team is returning this Tuesday night for a repeat performance. No word on the menu yet, but expect deliciousness.
Last month, we told you about a Divisadero group that was seeking community feedback in an effort to save the Harding Theater. Well the results of their survey are in. With over 200 responses, the top goals of survey respondents were to reduce blight on Divis and restore the character of the building. The most-desired future uses of the building were hosting movies and film festivals. You can get more info and follow the project's progress over on their Facebook page.

Finally from this week's mailbag: a reader tells us that her house at Page and Steiner was broken into last week and robbed of 4 laptops, a wallet, and other items. Just a reminder to stay alert -- and get renter's insurance!
