I walked down to La Fajita Mexican Grill (2312 Market Street) for one of their famous burritos on Monday only to be heartbroken when I saw the windows covered up, the doors locked, and a notice posted in the window. Luckily, the closure is just temporary; according to the notice, they are upgrading their kitchen equipment and will reopen on Thursday at 11am. The renovations to the kitchen may be the result of new owners taking possession of the restaurant after it went up for sale in January.
If you are still hankering for a burrito in the meantime, there are plenty of places to get one, but consider checking out El Castillito on Church across from Safeway; they are my faaaavorite. Where is your favorite?
