Everyone's heard a story from a friend (or a friend of a friend) getting a little something more than just a workout at Fitness SF in the Castro. Well it looks like the family-owned fitness chain has had enough of the hanky panky and will be shutting down the steam room at both their Castro and SOMA locations in addition to adding partitions in the shower area. SFist reported that management said, "We've received too many complaints," adding, "Now that the steam rooms are closing, we'll expand the shower area with more stalls and provide stalls with doors." Maybe Castro's lone bathhouse sex club (bathhouses have private little rooms which are illegal in SF) just down the street, Eros, will see an uptick in business? I guess time will tell... (via SFist)
