Tablehopper revealed the news yesterday, detailing that chef/owner Michael Black decided to close the restaurant after not being able to work out a new lease. Black confirmed the news via a series of tweets this morning:
dear friends, after 7 1/2 years I have decided to close the restaurant. being unable to obtain an agreeable renewal of our lease,

Sebo will be ending a run of more than seven years in the neighborhood, having opened on February 28th, 2006. The last day in business will be next Saturday, October 26th. We'll let you know if we hear of plans for any closing events in the days ahead.
