It may only be Thursday, but there'll be plenty of local action battling for your attention this weekend.  Here's what you need to know:

Tomorrow night, DSF (520 Haight) hosts a first Friday opening for "Females," a collection of paintings on wood by artist Nina Fatima.  As with all DSF shows, expect music, drinks, and discounts, not to mention skeeball.  The opening runs from 7pm to 11pm.

Also tomorrow night, Rare Device (600 Divisadero) invites you to the opening reception for "Girls You Can't Have," featuring artwork by illustrator Monica Garwood.  It's "a series of portraits that capture a glimpse of the unobtainable, mysterious, elusive girl and the barriers that keep her at a distance."  The event goes from 6pm to 8pm, and the show will be up through April 29th.

On Saturday morning, head up to Alamo Square for the monthly volunteer day.   Starting at 9am, join your neighbors for greening, cleaning, and refreshments.  They just ask that you RSVP to park [at] alamosq {{dot}} org if you're interested, so they can plan accordingly.

Also Saturday morning, Gamescape (333 Divisadero) celebrates International TableTop Day with a daylong festival of tabletop gaming.  They'll have open tables all day and plenty of board games available for your enjoyment.  The fun runs from 10am to 7pm, and it's free.

On Saturday night, Underground SF (424 Haight) is where you want to be for the monthly party that is Push The Feeling.  This one features local DJ Vin Sol, a live set by Cherushii, and of course residents epicsauce DJs and YR SKULL. It's free before 10pm with RSVP, $6 after, and 21+.

And finally, all weekend long, Bi-Rite (550 Divisadero) is celebrating its 1-year anniversary with deals in every department of the store.  You can snag yourself special items like $6 canvas bags and $5 ice cream sundaes, now through Sunday.

Anything we missed?  Let us know in the comments.
