Consignment mainstay Buffalo Exchange celebrates its 40th birthday this year. To celebrate the occasion, the company has been touring a 1969 Airstream-turned-boutique around the country to spend a day at each of their stores.

On Tuesday, May 6th from 11am-6pm, the trailer will be right out front of the Haight Street shop, filled with a custom selection of Western wear and other vintage goodies that the Haight Street staff has curated. In addition, they'll have Buffalo Exchange totes, postcards, t-shirts, temporary tattoos, stickers, pens, and more.
Proceeds from tote bag sales will go to the Buffalo Field Campaign to preserve the wild buffalo in Yellowstone National Park.

The company was started in 1974 in Tucson, Arizona by Kerstin and Spencer Block. At the time, Buffalo Exchange was the only buy/sell/trade consignment store around. It has since grown to 46 stores and 3 franchises in 17 states.
You can check out the Instagram feed from their nationwide tour here.
We should also mention that the Haight Street store is hiring, so don't be shy about dropping off a resume tomorrow while you're checking out the goods.
