Here's a quick roundup of some things that happened this week or events taking place today or in the next few weeks.
SF Symphony Summer Tickets Available
As you probably know, we have several of the city's performance spaces located in our neighborhood... one of those being the San Francisco Symphony. As of this week, tickets are now available for their Summer & the Symphony series. Some performances include Pixar in Concert, a Grease Sing-Along, and Melissa Etheridge with the SF Symphony. Ticket prices range between $15-$150 and can be purchased on their site or by calling (415) 864-6000. [201 Van Ness]

Father's Day at Absinthe
If you're looking to celebrate Father's Day, Absinthe Brasserie & Bar has a special brunch in honor of the holiday. According to the restaurant, the menu includes the usual menu plus "a special pan-roasted filet mignon and dungeness crab fritter served with basil-corn pudding, asparagus, and brown-butter hollandaise ($27)" They suggest getting a reservation online before heading down, but if everything's taken, you can try grabbing a seat at their bar. [398 Hayes]

They're launching 45 minute express Pilates equipment classes, along with updated Informed Technique classes. It costs $150 for unlimited classes your first month after you join. For more prices or info, contact Informed Body through their website. [389 Grove]

Tenants Rights Meeting Tomorrow
As we reported earlier this week, Place Pigalle is hosting a Tenants Rights Meeting at their bar tomorrow night from 6-9pm. Representatives from  the San Francisco Apartment Association and SF Tenants Union will be present to talk and answer questions. The meeting is open to any residential or commercial tenant who wants to learn more about their rights. Drink specials and snacks will be available for anyone who joins. [520 Hayes]
