We're in for a daylong triple-header of local fun in the neighborhood this Saturday, and we've got all the highlights for you to start planning now.
Tag Sale!

Facebook / Duboce Park
First up, it's the 17th annual Friends of Duboce Park Tag Sale. Today and tomorrow from 5:30pm to 7pm, swing by the yellow Penske truck parked at Duboce and Noe (pictured above) to drop off items you'd like to donate.
Specifically, they're looking for:
Books, videos, clothes, linens, furniture, kitchen items, baskets, decorative, seasonal, sporting goods, toys, collectibles, and more.
Items they're not looking for (because Goodwill, where all the leftover items are taken, won't accept them) include:
Items that are stained, torn, or broken, large appliances, small non-working appliances (microwaves, toasters), non-working electronics, non-digital TVs, non-flat screen TVs, baby cribs, bed pillows, mattresses and water beds, snow skis, oil-based cleaning supplies, paints and thinners, computers, peripherals, and manuals, auto parts and tires, sinks and showers, piping, water heaters, bath tubs, stained carpets, and infant and baby car seats.
Got that? Toys are good, water beds are bad.
Then, head to the park on Saturday from 9am to 2pm for the big event. Proceeds go toward Duboce Park improvements. You may recall that last year's event was washed out by an unusually strong rainstorm, so there's a little extra pressure on this year's version to be a success.
Record Swap!

From 2pm to 5pm, wander up to the 400 block of Haight for a record swap and sale. Bring those records you just picked up at the tag sale, or some from your own collection that you're ready to unload. Or, just come with cash in hand and hope to make a fun discovery.
Art Walk!

Finally, it's the return of the Lower Haight Art Walk, scheduled from 5pm to 9pm (and beyond). Highlights include:
- The monthly DJ night known as "Push the Feeling" at UndergroundSF from 9pm to 2am
- A new show of works by illustrator Andrew Kolb called "On the Shoulders of Giants," opening at DSF at 7pm
- An art show featuring new works by local artist Cahill Wessel, plus drinks and music, at Edo Salon from 8pm to 11pm
- A local artist trunk show and discounts at Life
- 15% off jewelry at Aline's Closet
- Discounts at Wild Feather, Merch, Zerofriends, and more
The forecast for Saturday is currently 71 degrees and sunny, so leave the umbrella at home and have some good ol'-fashioned fun in the neighborhood. We'll see you out there.
