Just a quick reminder that today's the last day in business for the Lower Haight's Gallery 683.

As we noted back in October, the shop is closing after nearly 20 years at the location. Owner Harry Strauch, who has been in business in the area since the 1960s, decided that, given the changing economy and neighborhood, it was "just not working out to stay any longer." (You can read more about Harry and his amazing ties to the Haight in our recent interview.)

So if you're in need of a last-minute Christmas gift, or just want to take home a little piece of Haight history and/or say your goodbyes, be sure to swing by 683 Haight today.
