Looking for a few extra work hours or a new job? Many local businesses are on the lookout for help: just take a stroll along Divisadero and you'll notice the many "help wanted" signs posted in windows. The corridor has a little something for everyone right now, whether you're looking for a hostess position or work as a mechanic. Here are a few of the jobs now hiring in the neighborhood.

Produce Inventory Manager / Shift Supervisor and Ice Cream Scooper at Bi-Rite

Bi-Rite is looking for someone to manage order placements in collaboration with the kitchen and creamery. The job requires someone who can work under pressure, who has a passion for food, and who can make guests feel welcome.

Bi-Rite is also looking for an ice cream specialist to serve scoops and work the register at its popular creamery.

Workers at Bi-Rite receive a 25 percent discount on anything in the store, and medical and dental care after one month. Full job postings can be found on Craigslist here for the inventory manager and here for the ice cream scooper.

Front of House and Back of House Positions at 4505 Burgers & BBQ

If you're into brisket, fried mac n' cheese, burgers, and more, 4505 Burgers and BBQ is hiring for three positions. The front of house role includes taking orders, knowing the menu through and through, and ensuring that guests are happy. Back of house entails slicing brisket, pulling pork and learning the ins and outs of making BBQ.

Salary is competitive, with paid time off after 90 days, and health insurance benefits after 60 days. You can email resumes in using the email addresses in each Craigslist ad above.

Estimator and Body Technician at Lofrano Auto Body Shop

Right next door to 4505 is an opportunity for those who are good at both math and cars. Lofrano is looking for an estimator with knowledge of the car industry, and estimating systems, as well as a qualified body technician. Applicants must be legally allowed to work in the USA, have a valid CA driver's license, and pass a drug and background screening.

Benefits include 100 percent medical insurance, 401k, paid time off and training paid for by the shop. Interested parties can apply online for either position.

Budtender at Local Dispensary

Although the name isn't listed, the marijuana dispensary in this ad might be BASA Collective at 1326 Grove St. Listed in the "Alamo Square/NoPa" neighborhood category, the dispensary is looking for someone to tend the buds who is detail-oriented, reliable and who has an open or flexible schedule.

Pay starts at $17 per hour and interested parties can apply through the Craigslist ad

Barista at Vinyl

ReWAXation (which moved into the neighborhood in March) is looking for a new waxing specialist to join their team. They advertise their businesses as having an enthusiastic team of no-drama ladies, who are paid a 35 percent commission on services. Applicants must have experience with Brazilian waxing, be a team player, and have the flexibility to work up to four shifts a week.

Resumes can be sent through the Craigslist ad.

Barista at Matching Half

Matching Half Cafe on McAllister and Baker streets in NoPa is always bustling, and it's now on the hunt for a new barista. The job posting asks applicants if they "Ever wonder what it's like to be on the other side of the counter at your favorite neighborhood café? To approach the morning rush with eager anticipation and know you crushed it? To create tiny works of art and then relish in their immediate destruction? Do you enjoy the crisp bite of cold beer and the warm embrace of a well-crafted shot of espresso?"

The job description includes coffee and food preparation, and the ability to hustle when things get busy. More info can be found in the Craigslist post here, or just swing by and talk to Jason if you're interested.
