Little Gem, a project by Thomas Keller Restaurant Group alum Eric Lilavois, will debut for dinner this evening from 5-9pm. As we noted last week, the restaurant has a healthy fast-casual format; PR rep Susie Biehler notes that the restaurant's focus is on "clean eating—all organic, naturally-sourced, free of GMOs and also gluten, dairy and refined sugar free."
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of 400 Grove St, a new housing development on the corner of Grove and Gough. Unlike many of its neighbors, Little Gem has adopted a casual approach to dining—customers can order at the counter and sit where they like. The restaurant is open for dinner from 5-9pm Tuesday through Sunday, with breakfast, lunch and brunch to come early next year. (See our full story here.)
