A late afternoon collision saw one male pedestrian injured as a car reportedly struck him at Fifth & Market. Witnesses reported seeing the car, a white Mercedes, making a fast left turn onto Fifth Street from Market (an illegal turn). Emergency personnel were seen putting a neck brace on the pedestrian as he lay on the street, before taking him away in an ambulance.

The driver stayed on the scene.

SFMTA reports that the F-Market was delayed, but is now moving again.
