After nearly two years of serving up Japanese fare at 531 Haight, Raijin Sushi appears to be officially closed for business. It opened in January 2014; before that, it was Al Fanoose/Ali Baba's Cave.

The restaurant's successor, Hot Zushi, has already put up its banner, but nothing has taken shape inside the space as of yet. We'll keep you updated on its future.
