Outer Sunset Week: GGP Half Marathon, Lunar New Year At The Zoo, Love Sick Art Show, MorePhoto: Caitlin Harrington/Hoodline

Whether you're feeling the love this Valentine's Day weekend or something closer to anti-amorous angst, there are events around the neighborhood to suit Sunsetters of all stripes.

The San Francisco Zoo may seem like an unlikely place to find love, but with a Valentine's Day animal mating lecture, they're serving it up in spades. They're also offering free Sunday admission for seniors, two-for-one senior admission all month, and a Lunar New Year celebration for families on Saturday, with Chinese acrobatics, lion and folk dancing, and Year of the Monkey-themed crafts.

If you're down on love this Valentine's Day, you may want to head over to Honey Hive Saturday for their "anti-amorous" Love Sick Art Show. You'll hear anti-love songs from bands The Tortured, Diana Regan, and Meant to Bend while you peruse art by Aliza Abrams, Mona Marcos, Catbreast, Dani Robison, Chayse Goda and Emily Fromm.

As SFist noted, we got a break from El Niño rains this week, with temperatures in the Outer Sunset reaching a downright balmy 76 degrees. The stretch of lovely weather looks set to continue through the weekend, perfect for park volunteering and other outdoor activities.

Drivers should take note, however: The Kaiser Permanente half marathon will make its way through Golden Gate Park and Great Highway on Sunday morning. For a complete list of road closures, including a stretch of Great Highway, check out this map.

Additionally, N-Judah trains won't be running as work on the Sunset tunnel resumes, so expect shuttle buses to replace the N-Judah trains from Friday at 8pm through Monday at 3:30am.

And now, the full list of our picks for your Outer Sunset weekend.
