With wildflowers blooming after the rains, spring is in full force here in Outer Sunset. Now that the days are longer, you can enjoy the beautiful weather and stunning views this weekend with outdoor events at the Zoo and Ocean Beach—or if you’re more inclined to stay indoors, the library has fun activities for tinkerer types.
Easter celebrations will be in full force at the San Francisco Zoo on Saturday and Sunday. The Zoo has partnered up with local radio station KMEL for a lively event for the whole family. There will be Easter egg hunts, music, and of course, bunnies.
In the spirit of rejuvenation and wellness, Easter Sunday will also bring a daytime bonfire at Ocean Beach. Events include an open mic, meditation, and a potluck.
Maker March continues at the San Francisco Library with fun craft events for kids and teens. This week, you can learn to make your own solar prints, build a contraption that sends a marble wandering through, or create your own button.
Onto your events for the week. For more fun around the city, check out our full events calendar at hoodline.com/events.
