Hydrant Erupts Near Hayes And Polk, Reportedly From Car Sideswipe [Updated]

A fire hydrant made a spectacle on Hayes between Polk and Larkin this evening, with eyewitnesses taking a few photos and videos of a geyser shooting into the air.

Update: Instagram user Gabriel Gonzalez, who recorded the video below, says that the cause was a car sideswiping the hydrant.
