The weekend's forecast calls for cooler temps and showers—but Inner Sunset residents know that just means donning an extra layer before leaving the house. Here are some fun events to check out around the neighborhood this week.

Tonight, visit the Sunset branch library for a free seminar led by psychotherapist Dr. Asya Grigorieva called "The Art and Science of Becoming Happier." In her presentation, Grigorieva will share techniques for establishing new habits and modes of thinking that promote what she terms "Positive Psychology."

Had your fill of burgers and burritos? Sunday's farmers market offers multiple chances for redemption, with a dazzling variety of sustainably raised foods grown in Northern California. Cruciferous veggies like broccoli and bok choy are in season, so look up a few recipes and bring your reusable shopping bags.

The Giants began playing this week, but the Bay Area Vintage Baseball League is already a few weeks into its 2016 season. This Sunday, head for the Big Rec baseball field (7th Avenue & Lincoln) for a doubleheader: Sea Lions vs. Pelicans at noon, followed by Clarions vs. Pacifics at 3pm.

Here's the rest of what's going on in the neighborhood this week. For more events, visit hoodline.com/events
