Over a year ago, we brought the news that indoor cycling studio Flywheel Sports was opening a new flagship location in the One Market building at 71 Spear St.
Permitting delays pushed the studio's opening date to this fall, but tomorrow, the city's first Flywheel will open its doors to the public, joining locations in Walnut Creek and Sunnyvale. Created by a former founder of SoulCycle, Flywheel now has dozens of studios around the U.S.
"With an entrance on the ground floor, the facility will feature stadium-style indoor cycling consisting of 72 bikes," says a press release, which notes that individual classes start at $28, including indoor cycling shoe rental. To celebrate the opening, the studio is offering a 30 20 percent discount on first-month memberships for new riders.
