91-Year-Old Pedestrian In Critical Condition After Nob Hill CollisionPhoto: Google

A 91-year-old woman was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at Pacific & Leavenworth in Nob Hill. 

The incident occurred on Sunday, Oct. 9th, shortly before 6pm. According to police, the victim was walking in the crosswalk when the driver of a 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse, a 30-year-old man, struck her as he was traveling westbound on Pacific.

She sustained a life-threatening head injury, and was transported to the hospital. 

The driver stayed on the scene after the incident.
