No matter how you voted this week, where you're from, or how you feel about the world right now, we've all been through the wringer. This weekend is a chance to rest, refocus, and reconnect with your neighbors and loved ones.
Apart from a quiet round at your local of choice (see you at Trax), it's shaping up to be a weekend suitable to be outdoors, whether it's the Botanical Garden's Cloud Forest, which is in full bloom this time of year, or the garden's end-of-season plant sale (at the Hall of Flowers) tomorrow, November 12th, from 10am-1pm.
Then, tomorrow evening (5:30-8pm) at the music concourse by the de Young, "Carmina In Nocte" (or "songs at night") is a free offering of outdoor music to end your day.
Apart from all that, the weather is looking favorable to a well chosen picnic, barring scattered showers on Saturday—so pack yourself some sandwiches and beers and find a little place in the park.
Here's your little smattering of events in and around the 'hood for the weekend. As always, look for citywide events and contribute your own at hoodline.com/events.
