Police announced today that an arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of Jermaine Jackson Jr., a Public Works employee who was killed yesterday while cleaning up graffiti on 25th Street near Vermont.

The shooting occurred around 8am yesterday morning (Nov. 30th), and police report that an arrest was made by 5:30pm the same day. 

SFPD, working with the Vallejo Police Department, located and arrested 26-year-old San Francisco resident Michael Higginbotham in Vallejo, and booked him into the SF County Jail on murder charges.
