A San Francisco man was found dead yesterday morning at Mission and Excelsior streets. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.

According to the SFPD, officers found the victim dead on arrival at 9:13am Sunday, January 29th. The department has not disclosed the type of injuries the victim sustained or cause of death.

The medical examiner's office has identified the victim as 58-year-old Marco Diaz Perez.

No suspects have been identified or arrested. We'll share additional information on the investigation if and when we learn more.
