Itching to see the hottest shows on Broadway right now? Don’t even think about dumping your life savings into a trip to New York.

This fall, SHN’s newly announced 2017-2018 season is bringing some of the most popular productions currently running on Broadway to San Francisco’s Orpheum and Golden Gate theaters—and SHN members get first crack at the best available seats.

The new season includes seven highly acclaimed Broadway shows. And on the heels of "Hamilton"’s celebrated visit, the company calls this its most diverse lineup yet.

It all starts in August with "Something Rotten," which pits two desperate aspiring playwrights against a rock-'n'-roll-infused William Shakespeare.

Romantics and Broadway musical fanatics won't be able to resist the shows, which include "On Your Feet!," the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan's rise to fame; "Waitress," currently running on Broadway with original music by six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles; and the jazzy, Tony Award-winning "An American In Paris. "

The new season also boasts stagings of the Tony Award-winning revival of "The Color Purple" and the boisterous "School of Rock," both on Broadway now.

And to celebrate the holidays, everyone's favorite street kid, "Aladdin," is coming to the SHN Orpheum Theater this November.

Purchasing a membership to the upcoming season is the easiest way to book the best available seats at the best price. With a membership in hand, you can forgo setting reminders for on-sale dates to snag remaining tickets, or testing your luck in last-chance lotteries.

SHN membership benefits, explained.

You'll also get first access to purchase additional tickets for friends and family throughout the season. And once per season, members can transfer tickets from one production to another of their choice.

Here’s another pro-tip: members get first access at tickets to SHN's "special engagements." SHN is planning at least one that's expected to cause a frenzy: a four-week limited run of "Book of Mormon"—which boasts nine Tony Awards, including “Best Musical,” and a Grammy.

With your 2017-2018 membership, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase your tickets first.

New members can also expect invitations to private “In Conversation” events, featuring Broadway stars. In the past, SHN has hosted exclusive, members-only talks with Thomas Kail, the director of "Hamilton;" Darren Criss and Lena Hall, the stars of "Hedwig;" as well as author Harvey Fierstein and composer Cyndi Lauper, two of the creators of "Kinky Boots."
