Body Found At I-280 Off-Ramp Near San Jose Ave. [Updated]

A fatal collision has occurred at the San Jose Avenue off-ramp on the northbound 280 highway. 

The collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 1:49pm. CHP, SFFD, and the medical examiner are all responding to the scene.

No other details were immediately available. We will update this article once we learn more. 

Update, 6:07pm: According to CHP, the body found earlier today may not have been there due to a collision.

Initially, a decomposing body was discovered at 1:49pm near the off-ramp which may or may not have been involved in a collision. The body may have been that of a homeless man, CHP spokesperson Vu Williams told Bay City News.
