A 21-year-old was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after an unknown assailant struck him with a car yesterday afternoon in SoMa.

According to police, the victim was walking in the middle of the street near Harriet and Folsom yesterday around 2:39pm when he “heard a car engine revving.”

The victim was then struck by the vehicle, which fled the scene. No description of the suspect or the vehicle has been released.
