Police are seeking a suspect who shot six people, one fatally, in the Bayview district on Friday evening. 

At around 11:00pm, police from Bayview Station responded to a location near Third and Quesada streets after receiving reports of gunfire. When they arrived at the scene, six people "believed to have been standing in close proximity to one another" were wounded.

A 20-year-old San Francisco resident succumbed to his injuries, and a 24-year-old man was hospitalized with life-threatening wounds. Four other males, 26, 23, 31 and 19 years old, were treated for minor injuries and later released from San Francisco General Hospital, reported the Examiner.
